Job Description:
Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance and control strategies to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
Conduct and manage all quality audits, including internal, external, and supplier audits.
Analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement; develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Oversee and mentor junior QA/QC staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and support the introduction of recent products or processes.
Ensure that quality management systems comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management.
Review and update quality documentation, including policies,
procedures, and work instructions. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., FSSAI, FSSC, HACCP, GMP, Halal, Kosher etc).
Valuable understanding of quality management systems, industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP), and regulatory requirements.Positive analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive decision-making.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact management.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
