n Mahindra Research Valley (MRV), Chennai is looking for a passionate Sr. Engineer – Lighting Systems to join the Lighting COE team.

n Key Responsibilities
n Responsibilities
n n Design & development of Exterior and Interior Lighting Systems
n Benchmarking of latest lighting technologies and market trends
n Prepare and manage POC, SOR, DVP, TSO and development activities
n Collaborate with suppliers from concept to SOP, ensuring all requirements are met
n Manage design releases, validation activities, field issues and problem resolution
n Develop lighting systems meeting functional, quality and regulatory requirements
n Review and release technical specifications and engineering documentation
n Work closely with cross-functional teams from Marketing to Service throughout the project lifecycle

n n B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
n B.E / B.Tech – Automobile Engineering
n B.E / B.Tech – Mechatronics Engineering
n n Required Skills
n n Robust understanding of Lighting Optics,



Electronics and Vehicle E&E; Systems
n Expertise in Optics, CAD Packaging, DFMEA and GD&T;
n Knowledge of CAE Thermal, Vibration and Condensation Analysis
n Experience in Wiring Harness and Automotive Electronics
n Robust problem-solving and project management skills
n Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
n n Preferred Skills
n n Must have hands-on experience in CATIA V5
n CATIA V6 / 3DX would be an added advantage
n Experience with Optics Simulation Software (SPEOS preferred)
n Knowledge of LED technologies and vehicle lighting electronics
