Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day Paint Shop production activities.
Ensure proper surface preparation, pre-treatment, primer, base coat, and top coat application.
Monitor paint parameters such as viscosity, thickness (DFT), temperature, and curing time.
Control defects like orange peel, sagging, pinholes, blistering, and dust particles.
Maintain production efficiency and achieve daily/monthly targets.
Reduce paint consumption and optimize material usage.
Coordinate with Quality & Maintenance teams for process improvement.
Handle manpower planning and shift management.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing practices.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental norms.
Maintain production reports and documentation.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Automotive Paint Shop processes (Liquid Painting / Powder Coating).
Understanding of Conveyor systems, Spray guns, Paint booths, Ovens, and Pretreatment lines.
Familiarity with TPM, OEE, and root cause analysis.
Required Qualification: - Any Engineering
