Role Purpose:
The Lead Engineer is responsible for confirming and supporting the protected, reliable, and effective operation of Airbus product features and functions across sub-system, system, and aircraft levels. This role utilizes ground-based test rigs and rigorous analysis of ground and flight data. The lead will also drive system maturity by exploring and implementing advanced validation techniques, while simultaneously providing strategic leadership for the testing team.

Main Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of flight control engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and skilled growth.
Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of testing projects. Define strategy, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure all program milestones and deadlines are achieved with technical precision.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.



Communicate test progress, technical risks, and system behavior insights effectively to ensure alignment with broader business and program objectives.
System Testing Strategy: Understand and define system testing methods, strategies, and planning. Oversee the writing of test procedures, execution, data recording, and defect classification.
Analysis & Reporting: Utilize appropriate tools to perform real-time analysis, supporting flight tests and identifying defects. Produce comprehensive Flight Test Report Analysis.
Innovation & Automation: Drive the innovation of value-added testing techniques, including automated testing, virtual testing, and Big Data Analysis to eliminate the cost of non-quality.
Documentation: Review and validate design specification documents such as System Description Documents (SDD), System Integration Documents (SID), and Interface Control Document (ICD).
