Job Description About Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall:
n The Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, founded in 2008, a premium venue in India is a fully furnished, 2600 sq. Ft Concert Hall in the heart of the city. With close to 1200-member seating capacity, it also features a 200-person capacity black box experimental theatre with an outdoor performance area and 3 versatile training rooms. Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall is one of the first halls in the city, with integrated, exceptional audio-visual and lighting equipment manned by trained technicians. This makes the Concert Hall a versatile venue for performances of every scale.
n Who are we looking for:
n The Sound Engineer is responsible for planning, setting up, operating, maintaining, and
n managing all audio systems for rehearsals, performances, and events, ensuring high-quality
n sound and seamless technical execution.
n Key Responsibilities:
n n Plan and coordinate all audio requirements for events and rehearsals.
n Set up, operate, and manage audio systems during rehearsals and live performances.
n Conduct sound checks, adjust audio levels,



and troubleshoot technical issues.
n Coordinate with artists, production teams, vendors, and internal departments.
n Arrange additional audio equipment and technical support as and when required.
n Maintain and update audio equipment, systems, and inventory.
n Ensure all audio equipment is serviced, repaired, and in optimal working condition.
n Research and recommend equipment upgrades and improvements.
n Maintain accurate inventory and equipment usage records.
n Ensure compliance with venue safety standards and support the overall execution of events.
n n Skills and Qualifications:
n n Solid knowledge of skilled live sound systems, digital mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and audio networking.
n Experience in live events, theatres, concerts, or similar venues.
n Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently under pressure.
n Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
