Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Finance Controller for a reputed company at Mumbai ( Goregaon)

Responsibilities
Overseeing day to day operations and leading & managing the finance team, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a cooperative work environment.
Stay up-to-date with relevant rules, regulations, and financial standards to ensure the company's financial activities remain compliant.
Prepare and file the necessary reports and documents as required by regulatory authorities.
Maintain a solid understanding of company laws and governance practices to ensure the company's financial activities align with legal requirements.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any legal or regulatory financial matters.
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives and long-term financial sustainability.
Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization.




Analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports to assess the company's financial health.
Identify trends, variances, and opportunities to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
Present financial information to senior management, board members, and other relevant stakeholders.

Candidate requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master's / CA degree will be a plus)
Proven experience of at least 8+ years in financial management, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and company law.
Excellent written & oral communication skills as well as very valuable presentation skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
