The Role
Aspen Technology, Inc. (an Emerson Company) is seeking an experienced Principal Workday Analyst to join the Business Applications team. Reporting to the Director, Business Applications, this role is responsible for the overall operational health, stability, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform. The position acts as a strategic bridge between HR, IT, business stakeholders, and Workday technical support, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing HR solutions.

This role is based in Pune, India, and supports a highly distributed,



global organization including managing Sr. Workday Analysts and leading Workday IT team.

Your Impact
Lead end-to-end operational management of the Workday platform, including Core HCM, Advantages, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, and Integrations.
Ensure platform stability, performance, and reliability across a global, 24x7 operating model.
Monitor Workday integrations daily and weekly; proactively identify failures, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution of data discrepancies.
Own Workday-related service desk and ticket-based support, including intake, triage, prioritization, investigation, resolution, and stakeholder communication.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-impact Workday incidents and defects.
Ensure adherence to ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management) and SLA commitments.
