About the Role
The IT Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for providing execution-level operational support for MRI’s global cloud and infrastructure environments. This role focuses on hands-on systems administration, infrastructure automation, monitoring, asset management, and IT service management activities to ensure secure, secure, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilites:
Provide day-to-day operational support for cloud and infrastructure platforms, including Linux and Windows systems.
Execute infrastructure automation activities using Ansible.
Perform Linux server administration, including patching and troubleshooting.
Administer enterprise monitoring and alerting platforms.
Support IT asset discovery and inventory management.
Resolve incidents and service requests using ITSM tools.
Support audit and compliance activities.
Maintain documentation and SOPs.
Collaborate with global Cloud Operations teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
7+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, and enterprise cloud infrastructure management.
Solid hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, with solid working knowledge of Amazon Web Services across networking, IAM, compute, and storage.
Proven track record in managing and supporting highly available, reliable SaaS production settings.
Proficiency in Terraform/ Ansible for multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Deep expertise in cloud networking architecture, including secure design, implementation, and optimization.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls in cloud environments.
Strong understanding of hybrid networking concepts, including BGP, UDRs, and route table configurations.
Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes, particularly AKS, with exposure to EKS.
Demonstrated strength in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management within production systems.
