About the Role

We are looking for a motivated US Accounting Specialist to support financial operations for US-based clients. The role involves handling accounting transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Activities
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Perform bank entries and bank reconciliations
Book sales and purchase invoices
Pass journal entries
Support cash management activities

General Ledger & MIS
Maintain General Ledger records
Prepare and share AR/AP ageing reports
Perform Gross Profit (GP) analysis
Conduct expense analysis
Prepare weekly work status reports in Excel

Reporting & Closing
Prepare financial statements for US-based clients
Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end closing activities




Prepare and maintain MIS reports

Client Communication
Assist in client reporting
Maintain documentation accuracy as per client formats
Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com
CA Inter (dropped / appeared )
ICWA Inter (Dropped / appeared )

Experience:
6 months to 2 years of International Accounting / US Accounting / KPO Accounting experience

Technical Skills:
Robust Excel skills
Understanding of accounting fundamentals
Knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Candidate Profile
Basic understanding of US GAAP concepts
Exposure to outsourcing/KPO workplace
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Good written communication skills
Ability to work with deadlines
