n The Primary Teacher (PRT) – Social Science is responsible for teaching Social Science subjects to primary school students, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a robust understanding of society, history, geography, and civic values. The teacher will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, implement age-appropriate teaching methodologies, assess student progress, and contribute to the overall academic and personal development of students.
n Key Responsibilities:
n n Plan and deliver engaging Social Science/EVS lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
n Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching-learning materials.
n Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide remedial support where required.
n Maintain discipline and create a positive,



inclusive classroom workplace.
n Encourage activity-based, experiential, and ICT-enabled learning.
n Organize projects, quizzes, exhibitions, and educational activities.
n Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation.
n Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, training programmes, and school events.
n Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the school.
n n Qualifications:
n n Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject.
n D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
n CTET/TET qualification preferred.
n n Skills:
n n Solid subject knowledge.
n Good communication and classroom management.
n Proficiency in ICT and activity-based teaching.
