Job Title: Junior Chemist – R&D;
Department: Research & Development

Location: Sayakha GIDC, Bharuch.

Reporting To: R&D; Manager
Job Summary:
The Junior Chemist will support the R&D; team in developing, testing, and optimizing
chemical formulations and processes. This role involves hands-on laboratory work,
data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in
product development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting laboratory experiments for current product development and
process improvement.
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples as per standard protocols.
• Record and analyze experimental data, maintaining accurate lab notebooks and
reports.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, Karl fisher, Ir,
HPLC & GC is a plus.




• Support scale-up trials and pilot plant activities under supervision.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and quality
standards.
• Collaborate with senior chemists and production teams to transfer lab findings
to manufacturing.
• Robust knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques in wet lab.

Qualifications:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Analytical/Industrial preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in an R&D; or laboratory setting (internships included).
• Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and chemical handling.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis tools.
