Job Description:
Quantity and Cost Estimation:
Analyze interior design drawings to calculate and extract quantities for materials and labor.
Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for projects.
Perform rate analysis and apply correct rates as per project agreements.
Billing and Invoicing:
Prepare monthly interim (RA) bills for clients based on site measurements.
Prepare and certify subcontractor and vendor bills for payments.
Submit and follow up on invoices to ensure timely payment.
Identify and bill for extra or non-tender items, preparing necessary rate analysis and supporting documentation.
Site Verification and Material Reconciliation:
Conduct site visits to verify the actual work completed and measure quantities accurately.
Track the consumption of materials (like cement,
steel, etc.) against theoretical quantities.
Reconcile material usage, identify discrepancies, and prepare for recovery of excess consumption or faulty work.
Coordination and Administration:
Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and the accounts team to ensure cost control and financial accuracy.
Coordinate with clients to obtain approvals for bills and clarify any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and organized billing records, project documentation, and financial reports.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies.
