n This position will drive strong industry collaboration, applied innovation, and strategic partnerships to develop next-generation manufacturing talent and impact-driven programs.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Lead industry-aligned initiatives in:
n Smart factories, Robotics, AI-driven manufacturing, IoT, Digital Twins, Automation.
n Establish partnerships with manufacturing companies, government bodies, and global technology organizations.
n Enable high-impact outcomes through:
n Live industry projects & internships
n Joint innovation labs / Centers of Excellence




n Team-oriented research and technology transfer
n Mentor and guide high-performing faculty teams with a practice-driven approach.
n Drive new program expansion aligned with industrial workforce needs and emerging manufacturing trends.
n Represent the institution as a thought leader in national and global manufacturing forums.
n n Preferred Profile
n n Ph.D. in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related domain (Preferably)
n 15+ years of robust experience in industry and/or manufacturing transformation leadership roles.
n Proven expertise in industry engagement, innovation ecosystems, and strategic growth.
n Deep understanding of up-to-date manufacturing systems and sustainable production models.
