Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs (e.g., using Mastercam, Siemens NX, or similar software) for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and 3D models to determine machining strategies.
Select appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, and fixtures for various materials (e.g., titanium, stainless steel, PEEK).
Collaborate with design and quality engineers to ensure manufacturability and compliance with medical device standards.
Support setup and prove-out of current programs on the shop floor; work with machinists during first-article inspection (FAI) processes.
Maintain documentation for validation and traceability in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues in a timely manner.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process capability and reduce cycle times.
Ensure all machining operations meet or exceed internal quality standards and customer specifications.
