About the Role

Chemmanur Jewellers is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and inventory-related accounting activities. Candidates from Jewellery Retail, Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG, Trading, or similar industries are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and tax consultants.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial transactions.
Prepare MIS reports and management reports.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.





Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Knowledge of audit processes and taxation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred.
4–10 years of accounting experience.
Experience in Jewellery Retail, Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG, Trading, or similar industries will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience handling branch accounts and inventory-intensive businesses.
Robust knowledge of GST filings, reconciliations, and taxation.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
