Job Role:
Being part of a Database Administration team, it needs to administer design database schemas, all types of
database objects like tables, views, stored procedures, functions etc for IT projects, including maintaining
databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. The Database Administrator will evaluate and
advise on all technology components for database management systems and applications. They may handle
databases for entire systems as well as for individual applications. Using their analytical and problem-solving
skills, database administrators help companies structure their data in a way where it's an easily accessible,
valid and secure setting. work on continued upgradation of technical artefacts.
Job Description:

● Installation and configuration and upgradation of Oracle database.
● User access management for Oracle.
● Hands-on experience on Linux OS and familiar with basic Linux commands and shell scripts.
● Data migration, backup, restore & recovery, Resolving performance issues, blocking and deadlocks.




● Implement and Monitor Oracle Cluster to provide High Availability for mission critical events,
database mirroring, replication and log shipping.
● Implement and maintain security and integrity controls including backup and disaster recovery
strategies for Oracle databases.
● Design and create database objects such as data table structures, stored procedures, views,
Triggers, reports, Database Administration, Configuration, Maintenance and Support.
● Experience in DR Drill activities like switchover and failover.
● Knowledge of ETL tools like Pentaho Data Integration, Tableau etc
● Extensive work experience on query optimization, script optimization, other related optimization tools

and techniques including Performance monitoring.
● Develop, implement, and maintain change control of databases. Ensure all database systems meet
business and performance requirements, including patch management.
Experience.: 2 - 5 yrs of relevant experience
Education : B.Tech/B.E. in Computers, MCA, MS/M.Sc in Computers, M.Tech in Computer Science or IT
