Position: Design Lead â Data Center Facility Infrastructure

Location: Chennai/Hyderabad

Reporting To: Head â Data Center Practice

Role Overview:

Roles and Responsibilities:

⢠Play a key role in the design and implementation of data center infrastructure

projects, including electrical systems, HVAC systems, and fire suppression

systems, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

⢠Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess the technical and

operational requirements for recent data center projects, collaborating with clients

to develop customized solutions tailored to their specific needs.

⢠Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical

documentation for data center construction and renovation projects, adhering to

regulatory requirements and best practices.

⢠Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the

successful execution of data center projects, managing project schedules,

budgets, and resources to meet client expectations.





⢠Direct a team of engineers and designers in the planning, design, and construction

of data center facilities, ensuring compliance with Tier / TIA standards and client

requirements.

⢠Develop comprehensive design strategies to enhance energy efficiency,

scalability, and resilience of data center infrastructure, resulting in significant cost

savings and improved performance.

⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers,

and construction specialists, to integrate cutting-edge technologies and best

practices into facility designs, including modular architectures, cooling systems,

and power distribution solutions.

⢠Lead the evaluation and selection of equipment vendors and contractors,

negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely project

delivery and adherence to quality standards.
