This position will be responsible for working alongside the Director/Team Leader of Clinical/OR/Pre-Clinical R&D; Global Procurement & Supplier Management in developing and executing a multi-year strategy that expands the capability and flexibility of working with external partners across the R&D; organization at Organon.
This position will be responsible for managing activities in support of our current (and future) outsourced scope of work. Responsibilities will include managing processes and connections between an external partner and the various stakeholders within Organon R&D; including Clinical/Outcomes Research (OR)/Pre-Clinical functional teams and Global Procurement to ensure that we are efficiently and effectively delivering high quality research activities on time globally. The incumbent expected to have a working knowledge of and skills in one or multiple functions such as clinical operations, outcomes research, outsourcing, and project management.
PrimaryResponsibilities
Support the onboarding of vendor resources and facilitate the vendors ability to execute on sourced scope of work.
Manage assigned clinical operations, pre-clinical, and/or OR sourced activities efficiently and on-time.
Identify and escalate issues related to the delivery of high-quality, on-time materials and/or services.
Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure best possible delivery of sourced submission work through clearly defined objectives and actively managing and tracking overall performance (via metrics) of assigned vendors.
Actively collaborate with assigned vendor(s) to assure recent capabilities and services are developed, and existing capabilities and processes are assessed and improved (on an ongoing basis)
Support of annual business planning and the analysis and proposal of the annual financial plan related to external partner expenditures.
