The Role
Presidio’s Innovation Team is driving the creation of scalable, next-generation solutions that transform business outcomes for clients and internal teams. We are seeking a Lead Engineer (Innovation) who combines deep technical expertise with solid leadership and a product-oriented mindset.

As a technical leader, you’ll guide engineering initiatives from ideation to deployment, mentor developers, and help shape the architectural vision behind Presidio’s innovation efforts — particularly across cloud and Generative AI domains.

Responsibilities include:
Lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge prototypes, accelerators, and products leveraging cloud and AI technologies.




Architect scalable and maintainable systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution strategy, scope, and technical approach.
Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and cross-team collaboration.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI frameworks, automation tools, data services) that enhance Presidio’s offerings.
Ensure alignment with organizational standards, engineering best practices, and long-term maintainability.
Represent the Innovation Team in technical discussions, client interactions, and demos.

Required Skills and Skilled Experience
7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
Expertise in one or more core languages: Python, Java, Go, C#, or TypeScript.
Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
