Established under the auspices of the American Embassy in 2001, the Jerusalem American International school is a branch of The Walworth Barbour American International School in Israel (WBAIS). It is a MSA accredited, fully independent, co-educational Pre-K - 9 international school offering an American program in an international setting.

JAIS is situated in a residential area of Jerusalem in the Goldstien youth village. We have renovated classrooms and a current yard as well as having access to communal facilities such as the swimming pool and gym.

The Successful Candidate will be:
Fluent English
Have a Degree
Have a Valid Special Needs Teacher Qualification
Experience in developing, teaching and reviewing IEPs
Experience in assessing student individual needs, implementing and monitoring programs.
Experience in partnering with all the faculty, cascading valuable practice and need to know information to address student needs.

● Demonstrated successful experience in teaching different types of learners.

● Ability to teach and differentiate to learners across K to grade 8, sometimes in mixed-age,

ability or interest groupings.
Experience with English language Learners and a knowledge of the interplay o
