Role Overview:
The Design Manager - Architect will oversee architectural designs from initial specifications to final blueprint stages,
ensuring compliance with required standards. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing designs for high-rise
residential buildings, liaising with diverse architectural firms, and standardizing processes across projects in multiple
cities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic:
• Research and recommend the latest trends and advancements in design and architecture for implementation
in projects.
• Identify and engage globally reputed design consultants and architects through market research and
negotiations.
• Build in-house capabilities to evaluate and challenge external designs effectively.
Operational:
• Review design briefs for proposed projects in collaboration with the Project Manager and Business
Development teams.
• Collaborate with external consultants, designers, and architects to align primary designs with project
objectives.
• Critically analyze and evaluate designs for financial feasibility, regulatory compliance, and ease of
execution.
• Standardize design processes across all projects for consistency and efficiency.
• Monitor the impact of design changes and coordinate updates with regulatory and liaison teams.
• Provide creative inputs to enhance customer experiences and generate creative design ideas.
Financial:
• Develop and manage the architectural budget for each project.
• Evaluate cost implications of design options and negotiate to minimize service costs.
• Ensure budget adherence while maintaining design quality.
Retail & Commercial Design:
• Demonstrate expertise in FAR calculations and city-specific byelaws (Banga
