We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
The Senior QA’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization. This individual will also gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and operations systems. The QA Analyst will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives. The Senior QA role plays an significant part in our company’s product development process.
Position & Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for recent applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
Prepare, present and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization.
Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
Identify key KPIs for product quality
Operational Management
Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation.
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
