We are currently seeking a Principal Image Analysis Scientist, Digital Pathology, based in India, to join our growing Computational Imaging and Digital Biomarkers team and advance the use of artificial intelligence for medical image analysis. This role will focus on developing and applying cutting-edge algorithms to imaging data, with the goal of enabling recent insights to drive precision medicine strategies. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in computer vision and AI to interrogate complex microscopy (standard H&Es;, IHC, and high-plex IF) and spatial omics data, driving innovations in biomarker discovery, companion diagnostics, and precision medicine.

In this vital role, you will:
Design, implement, and optimize machine learning and AI-based algorithms for image analysis, segmentation, classification, and prediction tasks.
Explore and evaluate novel approaches in deep learning, computer vision, and generative modeling applied to digital pathology datasets.
Develop robust pipelines for preprocessing, quality control, and large-scale analysis of multi-modal imaging datasets (chromogenic, multiplex IF, spatial-omics).
Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks, including internal benchmarking against ground truth data and external validation datasets.
Contribute to reproducibility and scalability of AI methods for clinical and research applications.
Partner with pathologists and data scientists to translate clinical challenges into computational problems.
Train junior analysts and support onboarding of recent staff
