Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is a professional who serves as a bridge between Development, Operations, Network, and DBA teams, taking on operational tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of the infrastructure. The role is responsible for monitoring, automating, and continuously improving the reliability and performance of cloud and on-premise environments.
The ideal candidate should have 7–12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management,
including a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in VMware settings (VCN, ESXi, patching, upgrades, DRS, HA, vSAN, etc.) and experience with other virtualization technologies. Additionally, the candidate must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Linux infrastructure, along with DevOps skills in configuring, administering, and maintaining application pods and containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
• Solid hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu) including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, and performance tuning.
• Extensive experience in Linux system administration, including server provisioning, configuration management, patching, and performance optimization in enterprise environments.
