JD: Mandatory skills: Oracle to Postgres on Azure migration.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate on-premises transactional database settings such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, evaluate and plan migrations to AWS RDS, Aurora.
Enhance database PLSQL scripts/TSQL to migrate from source database to target database
Identity workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration
Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate database readiness post migration

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
6+ years of experience in database development/migration using Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience on AWS Services - RDS, Aurora, SCT, DMS
Experience migrating Large databases > 1TB in size across multiple database engines (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, etc. )
Experience with heterogenous database migrations
Experience in performance optimization techniques
High end Troubleshooting and Communication skills
Scripting language (bash/Perl/python)
Experience in Database Administration - backup/restore, replication, etc
