Job Overview:
We are seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. You will ensure the optimal performance, security, and availability of virtual desktop infrastructure while providing exceptional support to end-users and internal teams.
If you have extensive experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows VMs, Azure Monitor, and troubleshooting, and hold the AZ104 certification, we would love to have you on our team
Primary Responsibilities:
AVD Workplace Management:
Configure, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
Optimize session hosts and user profiles for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Manage virtual machines, storage,



and networking within the AVD ecosystem.
Implement and manage application delivery within AVD sessions to ensure effective performance.

Support and Troubleshooting:
Respond promptly to user issues related to AVD, including connectivity, performance, and application access.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to virtual desktops, remote apps, and user profiles.
Collaborate with end-users to address session-related challenges and educate them on best practices.
Work closely with cloud and networking teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Security and Compliance:
Apply and enforce security policies within the AVD setting, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access Policies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies (e.g., SOC II, GDPR).
