As the Director of Accounts Payable at Xometry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our financial processes. You will lead a team of AP professionals, overseeing all aspects of accounts payable, from invoice processing to vendor payments. Your expertise in AP best practices, coupled with your strong leadership skills, will be essential in driving operational excellence and financial accuracy.
How You’ll Contribute:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Accounts Payable (AP) function, aligned with overall business goals
Lead and develop a high-performing AP team, fostering a culture of efficiency and accuracy
Identify, prioritize,
and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Oversee the implementation and optimization of AP systems and technologies
Establish and maintain solid internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with SOX and accounting standards
Build and maintain robust relationships with vendors to ensure timely payments and resolve disputes
Develop and provide insightful reports and analysis on AP performance metrics
Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Operations, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency
Collaborate with internal audit teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain strong internal controls
