The Tools and Automation team is responsible for building tools across Google Operations business using all internal technologies across Google ecosystem. This is a very unique team which not only builds smart solutions but also influences other engineering solutions to meet the operations team's needs. As a Developer Lead - Tools and Automation, you will be responsible to manage a team of technical skilled individuals who would build and implement various automation solutions and tools for customers across the globe.
Position Responsibilities
Leading the Automation engineers while coaching them to deliver the right business solutions.
Design/Architecture review of the automation framework and for any current automation ideas.
Identify and determine automation opportunities to gain maximum business value and operational efficiency gain.
Build strategy on new transformation opportunities across business areas considering a long term view.
Program manage businesses automation initiatives to deliver its desired outcomes.
Own and track the automation initiatives till closure while creating visibility across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent english communication (both written and oral), robust problem-solving approach with the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
10+ years of technology experience and knowledge where you have been exposed to leading technology teams while coding, frontend engg, dashboards, reporting, scripting, databases, etc. and have built/executed end to end soluti
