This role provides support for AMS customers managing incidents, optimisation mini-projects and support to other Financials delivery team members. across several Workday Fins and PSA functional areas. The consultant will assist clients with day to day Workday incidents, working closely with customer representatives to understand their business requirements, maintain and configure Workday Financials system to meet customer needs, and ensure smooth adoption of best practices

Key Job Responsibilities
Lead and participate in the set up and configuration and optimisation of Workday Fins / PSA functionality based on complex customer needs within agreed methodologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following functional areas
a) Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Closing & Reporting
b) Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Tax and Banking / Settlements
c) Customer Contracts, Customer Accounts,



Project Billing, Revenue Recognition, Cash Application & AR Management
Identify prospects for tenant enhancements and recommend improvements to maximise value to the customer's investment
Contributes to the evolution of implementation methodologies
Leads customer scoping, requirement gathering workshops and customer confirmation sessions
Translates customer requirements into detailed project scopes, ensuring customer expectations are effectively managed through delivery/subsequent changes
Coordinate testing efforts for the workstream and problem solve complex issues with minimal support
Provides support and guidance to more junior team members
Contributes to the planning and delivery of data migration and cut over phases ensuring milestones are met
Collaborates effectively with other teams, eg Change, Testing, PMO as required
