About Role
We are seeking a Database Manager who is not just a manager, but a hands-on technologist and
architect. This role demands a leader who loves to code and will actively participate in the entire
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—from architecture and design to coding, testing,
deployment, combining with strong people and architectural leadership, working closely with
Product, Publisher Partnerships, and Commercial teams.

We are looking for a seasoned Database Manager to lead the design, management,



and optimization
of mCanvas’s database infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise across database
architecture, performance tuning, reliability, security, and team leadership.

Roles & Responsibility
Database Management & Architecture
Architect Scalable Systems: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance
database systems supporting mCanvas’s high-volume AdTech platform.
Empowering the Data Journey: Lead data modelling, schema design, and database
architecture decisions across transactional and analytical workloads
Lead Innovation: Evaluate and implement recent database technologies, cloud platforms, and
tools to optimize performance and scalability.
Performance, Reliability & Security: Monitor, analyse, and optimize database performance (query tuning, indexing, caching strategies). Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place for critical systems. Implem
