Responsibilities
Develop and manage Incoming quality strategies based on the current challenges and establish & maintain supplier performance metrics, KPIs, and scorecards.
Ensure effective inspection and verification of incoming raw materials, components, and assemblies as per approved quality standards.
Define and implement inspection plans, sampling plans (AQL), and acceptance criteria.
Approve or reject incoming materials and ensure proper segregation and traceability of non-conforming material.
Monitor supplier KPIs such as PPM, rejection rate, response time, and delivery quality.
Ensure effective implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Solid hands-on experience on SAP QM.
Coordinate joint problem-solving activities with suppliers.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to quality systems and standards.
Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001:2015 and E&Y; etc).
Support current product development (NPD)



and first-time right approvals.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Thorough understanding of Quality management tools like APQP, PPAP, Lean Six Sigma, SPC, Measurement System Analysis, 8D, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects analysis), Control Plans, QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) etc.
Present regular reports on incoming quality performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Work closely with internal teams e.g. PSM, CRI, Plants, Service to ensure the smooth integration of incoming quality management processes.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
7 + Years of experience in Incoming quality management
Solid knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001,), Quality tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC, GD&T; etc.)
