The Collection Debt Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the debt collection process for the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective collection strategies and policies to maximize recovery rates and minimize bad debt.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of collection agents, including setting performance goals, conducting training, and evaluating performance.
Collection Process Oversight:
Oversee the daily operations of the collections department, including the management of accounts receivable, handling escalated collection issues, and ensuring timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant legislation.
