Overview:
The Lab Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the productive operation of the laboratory within the organization. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role is essential in maintaining the laboratory's functionality and enabling the smooth execution of experiments and research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the laboratory
Manage inventory and procurement of lab supplies and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Train and supervise lab technicians and assistants
Manage budgeting and financial aspects of the lab
Oversee maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
Collaborate with research and development teams

Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
Participate in the design and planning of lab layouts and workflows

Required Qualifications:
