Job Title Configuration Management Engineer

Job Description 3 - 8 years of experience in Configuration Management practices supporting automotive projects as per ASPICE (SUP.8)
Develop a configuration management strategy, including
• responsibilities.
• tools and repositories.
• criteria for configuration items.
Identify and document configuration items according to the configuration management strategy.
Deriving requirements from the configuration management strategy towards PMT and automation
Establish branch management according to the configuration management strategy
Establish baselines for internal purposes and for external delivery
Should be able to report status of configuration items to support project management and other relevant processes.
Ensure the consistency of baselines about configured items.
Ensure the integrity and availability of configuration items and baselines through appropriate scheduling and resourcing of storage, archiving (long term storage) and backup of the used CM systems
Well versed in documentation,



presentation and communication.

Mandatory Skills Candidate should have extensive configuration management knowledge and at least 3 years of applied experience in the automotive and/or aerospace industry .
Knowledge about state-of-the-art standards of software development: ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 9001, ISO/SAE 21434 (UNECE), ISO 29119 (also welcome KGAS "Konzern Grundanforderungen Software")
Understanding of Software development lifecycle and methodologies
In-depth knowledge of Configuration Management
Identifies the CIs and products.
Plans and manages a population of the Configuration Management System.
Controls the receipt, identification, storage, and withdrawal of all supported CIs.
Directs, prioritizes and schedules audits, ensures that any corrective action identified in Process and/or Database audits are carried out.
