We are looking for a skilled CAD Technical Faculty to deliver practical and industry-oriented training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). The ideal candidate should have solid technical expertise in CAD software and the ability to mentor students through hands-on projects and design-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom lectures and practical lab sessions on CAD software.
Teach subjects including:
Engineering Graphics
AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
SolidWorks
CATIA / Creo (Basics)
Revit / BIM (Basic)
Mechanical Drafting
Civil Drafting
3D Modelling & Assembly
Product Design Fundamentals
GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, lab exercises, and assessments.
Guide students on design projects, case studies, and industry applications.
Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and projects.
Mentor students for internships, certifications, and placements.
Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry practices.
Required Skills
Solid proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or Revit).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Robust understanding of engineering drawing standards and design principles.
Ability to deliver practical, project-based learning.
Preferred Skills
Industry experience in product design, manufacturing, civil design, or BIM.
Knowledge of CAM, CNC, 3D Printing, or PLM tools is an added advantage.
Relevant Autodesk, Dassault, PTC, or Bentley certifications.
