Role Objective:

A key objective of this role is to develop, execute, and monitor production and packing plans to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders across manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on production capacity planning, inventory optimization, customer service excellence, cross-functional coordination, and efficient utilization of resources to achieve on-time delivery and operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
- 56 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or Forecasting.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of at least 5 members.
- Strong understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Production Planning, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and advanced MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

- Develop and execute monthly production and packing plans based on customer demand, machine capacity, and material availability.
- Prepare monthly production plans for manufacturing units and support functions within defined timelines.
- Monitor daily production and packing activities to ensure adherence to approved plans.
- Create production orders in SAP and ensure timely system updates.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure completion of monthly production schedules and targets.




- Review and optimize production schedules to minimize delays and maximize resource utilization.

Order Management & Customer Service

- Review export and domestic sales orders daily and ensure timely execution.
- Ensure customer promise dates are updated in SAP within 48 hours of order receipt.
- Execute invoice plans for export orders based on production readiness and material availability.
- Coordinate with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) teams to provide regular order status updates.
- Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders through effective planning and execution.

Supply Chain Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Stores, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Work closely with QA and QC teams to facilitate timely batch release and shipment execution.
- Monitor material movement and execute inter-plant stock transfers through SAP transactions.
- Ensure material availability aligns with production and delivery commitments.

Systems, Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate planning-related transactions and records in SAP.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for planning activities.
- Raise and track Change Control Notes (CCN), deviations, and other operational documentation through designated systems.
- Manage master data activities including material code creation, brand code creation, BOM updates, and registration-related requirements.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement





- Prepare and submit periodic MIS reports related to operations and supply planning.
- Generate production status, delivery performance, and operational efficiency reports for management review.
- Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support KRA monitoring and performance review activities for the planning team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, customer service levels, and operational efficiency.
