Role Overview

NutraBridge Global is a startup bridging the gap between Indian nutraceutical manufacturing and the global B2B market. We are looking for a founding Procurement Manager who is not just a "buyer," but a strategic supply chain architect. You will own the end-to-end process of sourcing, vetting, and managing our manufacturing partners. As our first supply chain hire, you will build our "Approved Vendor List" from scratch and serve as the critical bridge between our manufacturing partners, quality standards, and our U.S. based team.

Key Responsibilities

- Supplier Strategy & Sourcing: Identify, audit, and onboard high-quality manufacturers in the nutraceutical space, specifically focusing on botanical extracts and GMP-compliant facilities.
- Quality Gatekeeping: Lead the technical vetting process, including document review (CoA, MBR, GMP certificates) and facility audits. You are the first line of defense to ensure raw materials meet our global quality standards.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and supply agreements. Manage the execution of Master Manufacturing Agreements (MMA) and Non-Circumvention (NNN) agreements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all suppliers and raw materials comply with FSSAI, FDA, and international GMP standards. Maintain an up-to-date library of regulatory compliance documentation for every vendor.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Manage the "Ten-Batch" approval process for current vendors. Monitor market trends,



price fluctuations, and supply chain risks to maintain a lean, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain.
- Process Architecture: Build and document the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for how we engage, vet, and manage manufacturers, ensuring our "virtual" model is scalable.

Required Qualifications

- Domain Expertise: 5-8+ years of procurement experience specifically within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food/botanical extract industry.
- Educational Background: B.Pharma, M.Sc. in Chemistry/Food Technology, or an MBA in Supply Chain/Operations. A "Techno-Commercial" background (science degree + business experience) is highly preferred.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret lab reports (HPLC, heavy metal limits, microbial testing) and audit reports (GMP/ISO).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of FSSAI, FDA, and GMP/cGMP documentation requirements.
- Startup Mindset: Ability to work autonomously, build processes from zero, and manage high-pressure negotiations with a "hands-on" approach.
