Purpose/Objective

Responsible for managing supplier relationships by addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless service delivery, while ensuring the timely opening of Letters of Credit (LCs) in compliance with contractual terms and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities of Role

LC & Contract Executive – Credit Management Letter of Credit (LC) Management 1. Create and issue Letters of Credit (LCs) in accordance with contractual terms, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. 2. Prepare and process inland LCs for domestic High Sea Sales (HSS) transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. 3. Coordinate with suppliers and buyers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of LC documentation. 4. Liaise with banks regarding LC discounting, premiums, and related terms to facilitate smooth financial transactions. 5. Monitor LC due dates and ensure timely payments by coordinating with internal stakeholders (Finance & Accounts, Marketing) and external stakeholders (customers and banks). 6. Submit and negotiate LC documents with banks as required. 7. Follow up on LC amendments, payment SWIFTs, and LC transmissions to ensure seamless execution. 8. Maintain accurate MIS reports for LC issuance, amendments, and payment tracking. 9. Escalate delays or discrepancies related to LCs and payments to the concerned stakeholders for timely resolution. Contract Management 1. Review and vet purchase and sales contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives, risk management policies, and regulatory requirements. 2. Collaborate with legal teams to address contract-related legal matters and ensure compliance. 3.



Work closely with the Finance team to evaluate transfer pricing strategies and transaction valuations for international trade deals. 4. Maintain a centralized and well-organized contract repository for easy retrieval and reference. 5. Develop and maintain MIS reports for effective contract monitoring and management. 6. Provide legal teams with all relevant contract terms, supporting documentation, and transaction details for review and compliance purposes. 7. Advise stakeholders on currency hedging requirements to mitigate foreign exchange risks associated with trade contracts. 8. Amend contracts as required based on business needs, regulatory changes, or customer requirements after obtaining necessary approvals. 9. Ensure all contract modifications are properly documented, approved, and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Digitization & Automation 1. Support digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and process effectiveness. 2. Identify, recommend, and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and support organizational objectives. Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: Post-Graduation Work Experience (Range of years): 8+ Years of experience
