Role & responsibilities

- Refine SAP workflows to match the physical realities of the shop floor
- Lead the outsourced Basis team; ensure high system performance for high-volume transaction environments
- Oversee the transition of production and financial data into Power BI to provide insights into manufacturing variances, scrap rates, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Maintain and scale the on-premise server architecture and network security
- Manage the IT needs of a production facility, including industrial PCs, handheld scanners for MM/SD, and office infrastructure
- Ensure the production setting is shielded from external threats while maintaining remote access for outsourced support

Preferred candidate profile

Mandatory experience in an industry/corporate role within a Discrete Production environment (e.g., Engineering, Automotive, Heavy Components, or Railway Industry) with at least 5 years leading SAP-centric departments.

Deep knowledge of S/4 HANA integration.

Candidates from Kolkata or Howrah will get the first preference.
