Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Jewellery CAD Designer with expertise in creating production-ready CAD models for diamond jewellery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Rhino and MatrixGold, along with a strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and design aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

- Create precise and high-quality 3D CAD models for diamond jewellery, including rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, bracelets, and necklaces.

- Develop accurate, production-ready CAD files using Rhino and MatrixGold.

- Interpret design briefs, sketches, and concepts into detailed 3D models.

- Modify and refine existing designs based on feedback from the Design, Merchandising, and Production teams.

- Ensure all CAD designs are technically feasible and optimized for manufacturing.

- Work closely with the Design, Production, and Quality teams to meet project timelines.

- Maintain accuracy in dimensions, stone settings, metal weight, and overall product quality.

- Stay updated with the latest jewellery design trends, CAD technologies, and manufacturing techniques.

Requirements





- 25 years of experience in Jewellery CAD Designing.

- Proven experience in designing diamond jewellery.

- Strong proficiency in Rhino and MatrixGold.

- Positive understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, casting, stone setting, and production feasibility.

- Strong knowledge of jewellery proportions, technical specifications, and finishing standards.

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with fine jewellery or luxury jewellery brands.

- Understanding of domestic jewellery market trends and customer preferences.

- Knowledge of jewellery rendering or visualization software will be an added advantage.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Jewellery Design, Product Design, or a related field.

- Certification in Jewellery CAD Designing is an added advantage.
