We are looking for an experienced GM/AGM Tender & Estimation to lead the tendering and estimation function for large-scale infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive techno-commercial bids, cost estimation, tender strategy, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely submission of high-quality bids.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete tendering and estimation process from enquiry to bid submission.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and contract conditions.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, rate analysis, quantity take-offs, and project budgets.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Planning, Contracts, Finance, and Project teams during bid preparation.
- Identify project risks and recommend suitable mitigation strategies during bidding.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors and conduct comparative analysis.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals in line with client requirements.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and site visits.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Develop and maintain estimation databases, cost benchmarks, and historical project records.
- Monitor market trends,



material prices, labour rates, and construction methodologies.
- Support management in bid strategy, pricing decisions, and project feasibility.
- Mentor and guide the tender and estimation team.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of tendering procedures, estimation, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.
- Expertise in EPC/Infrastructure/Building construction projects.
- Sound understanding of contracts, commercial terms, and project costing.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Software Knowledge

- AutoCAD
- MS Excel (Advanced)
- MS Project / Primavera (preferred)
- ERP Systems (Farvision, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Estimation and Quantity Take-off Software

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Master's Degree/MBA (Preferred)

Preferred Experience

- 15+ years of experience in Tendering & Estimation within Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, or Real Estate organizations.
- Experience in handling high-value government and private sector tenders.
- Proven experience in leading tender and estimation teams.
