We are seeking Sr. Reservoir Engineer to support reservoir simulation and field development activities. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in thermal reservoir modeling; at a minimum, strong black oil simulation experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reservoir simulation studies using thermal and/or black oil models.
- Build, calibrate, and validate dynamic reservoir models for performance forecasting.
- Evaluate recovery processes including thermal methods (e.g., steam injection, in-situ combustion) and conventional methods.
- Integrate geological, petrophysical, and production data to support development planning.
- Analyze reservoir performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including geology, drilling, production,
and surface engineering.
- Prepare technical reports, simulation outputs, and presentations for project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related field.
- Must have 510 years of experience in reservoir simulation and engineering.
- Experience in thermal reservoir simulation (e.g., CMG-STARS) preferred.
- Must have Minimum requirement: Proficiency in black oil simulation.
- Familiarity with reservoir management and enhanced recovery processes.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
