Sr. Manager - Financial Controller is responsible for overall financial management and control of the organization, working under the leadership of the Group FC/FD. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and supports strategic decision-making. Stakeholder management and team handling role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts for all four entities (UK, USA, Germany, Netherlands)
- Deliver insightful variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year, with transparent commentary for the Board and senior leadership
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all jurisdictions
- Maintain the integrity of financial data across multi-currency environments
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with regional business leads and the CFO
- Produce rolling quarterly forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities across the group
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support commercial planning and scenario analysis
Multi-Jurisdictional Finance & Compliance
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors across UK, US,
German and Dutch jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements
- Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany reconciliations across the group
- Coordinate VAT, payroll tax, and other indirect tax obligations in conjunction with local advisors
Treasury & Cash Management
- Monitor and manage multi-currency cash positions and optimize working capital across the group
- Prepare rolling 13-week cash flow forecasts, identifying short and medium-term funding requirements across entities
Systems & Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
- Maintain and develop the finance tech stack, including ERP and consolidation tools
- Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency across month-end and reporting cycles
