Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong emphasis on Functional Testing.
- The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications.
- You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, as well as collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that recent features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and functionality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide status reports and updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results.
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to their professional development.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Functional Testing.
- Proficiency in test case design and execution.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in Testing of web based/mobile application with good analytical and trouble shooting skills.
- Well versed with banking domain web/mobile app testing.
- Automation Testing experience in banking domain will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Understanding of database testing and SQL.
- Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications: BE / B.Tech /MCA /M.Tech only.
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Functional Testing.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
- Working from Client location only on daily basis (Only Work From Office).
- Flexible late-night shifts.
- Alternate Saturdays working (1 st , 3 rd & 5 th ).
