About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager / Manager – Quality Assurance to lead the QA function at our new manufacturing plant in Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Quality Management Systems, IATF 16949 standards, customer audits, supplier quality, and documentation. Candidates from the surface treatment chemicals or chemical manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all Quality Assurance department activities.
- Handle team management, manpower planning, and employee skill development.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Prepare, maintain, and control quality documentation and records.
- Develop and implement SOPs for manufacturing and quality processes.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate internal and external quality audits.
- Manage customer audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Drive supplier quality development and conduct supplier audits.
- Monitor process compliance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to customer-specific quality requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949,



ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Hands-on experience in customer quality standards and audit management.
- Expertise in document control and quality management systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

Required Knowledge

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 is preferred.

Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:
