Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to procurement, sourcing, and import-export activities.
- Manage compliance across the procurement lifecycle, from vendor selection to purchase order closure.
- Oversee procurement of industrial goods, including machinery, equipment, spare parts, and engineering components.
- Ensure adherence to import-export regulations, customs requirements, DGFT guidelines, and trade compliance.
- Review procurement contracts, commercial terms, and vendor agreements to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of sourcing activities.
- Conduct compliance reviews and internal audits of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Monitor vendor compliance and perform due diligence for supplier onboarding and evaluation.
- Identify compliance risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain documentation related to imports, exports, customs clearances, and procurement records.
- Liaise with external agencies, customs authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Develop and implement compliance policies, SOPs, and process improvements.




- Provide compliance guidance and training to internal stakeholders.

- Compliance with procurement and import-export regulations.
- Timely completion of procurement compliance reviews.
- Reduction in compliance risks and audit observations.
- Vendor compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Timely customs clearance and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Compliance, Supply Chain, Import-Export, or Procurement are an added advantage.
- 5-8 years of experience in compliance, procurement, supply chain, or import-export operations.
- Robust understanding of procurement and sourcing of industrial machinery, spare parts, and engineering goods.
- Working knowledge of import-export documentation, customs procedures, and international trade regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
