Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive Junior Engineer Production to support daily manufacturing operations. The role focuses on achieving production targets while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily production plans and achieve output targets
- Monitor and control shop floor activities (fabrication, machining, assembly)
- Ensure adherence to process parameters and work instructions
- Coordinate with quality team to ensure zero defect production
- Maintain production reports, shift reports, and MIS data
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S practices
- Minimize rejections, rework, and downtime
- Coordinate with maintenance team for machine uptime and troubleshooting
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication, welding, CNC, etc.)
- Knowledge of production planning and control basics
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing / 5S concepts
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Valuable communication and team coordination skills
