Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to oversee the performance of all Material Depot Experience Centres in Hyderabad. This role will be responsible for driving retail revenue growth, maintaining store standards, improving operational efficiency, and leading Store Managers and their teams.

The ideal candidate should have robust multi-store management experience, excellent people leadership skills, and a proven ability to improve store performance through effective team management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive revenue growth and business performance across multiple Hyderabad Experience Centres.
- Lead, coach, and mentor Store Managers and store teams to improve productivity and customer experience.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and business reviews with Store Managers.
- Monitor and improve key retail metrics including revenue, footfall, conversion %, average order value (AOV), ticket size, customer satisfaction, and repeat business.




- Ensure high standards of store maintenance, visual merchandising, cleanliness, and brand compliance across all locations.
- Review staffing, attendance, productivity, and team performance regularly.
- Partner with marketing teams to improve walk-ins and local market activations.
- Handle critical customer and operational escalations.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, audits, inventory controls, and operational processes.
- Identify underperforming stores and implement action plans to improve performance.
- Support hiring, training, succession planning, and development of store teams.

Requirements

- Proven experience managing multiple retail stores or experience centres.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience, including managing Store Managers and frontline sales teams.
- Strong track record of driving retail revenue growth and improving store performance.
- Experience conducting regular performance reviews, coaching, and team development initiatives.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs such as revenue, footfall, conversion rate, average order value (AOV), ticket size, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience handling store operations, maintenance, audits, inventory controls, and customer escalations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Background :

Candidates from Home Dcor, Furniture, Interiors, Tiles, Sanitaryware, Building Materials, Consumer Durables, Electronics Retail, Lifestyle Retail, or similar retail businesses will be preferred.
