Quality Control (QC) - Civil Water Supply Projects

LCGC Environmental Engineering LLP is seeking experienced and dedicated Quality Control (QC) Engineers for a multi-crore infrastructure project involving STPs, WTPs, ELSRs, Intake Wells, Sewer Networks, Large Storage Tanks, Sumps, and Major Pipeline Works (HDPE, DWC, HSC, DI, and OPVC), including Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) at Rajahmundry, Eluru, and Chintalapudi, Andhra Pradesh.

Job Responsibilities

- Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards.
- Conduct material inspections and verify that all materials meet project specifications and quality requirements.
- Perform and witness field tests, including concrete slump tests, cube tests, soil compaction tests, reinforcement inspections, and other relevant quality checks.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), checklists, test reports, and inspection records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on quality-related matters.
- Identify non-conforming works, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, contract specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Review method statements, quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and related quality documents.




- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, test results, and quality documentation.

Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Quality Management, Quality Control, or related fields will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in water supply, pipeline, water treatment, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.

Required Skills

- Sound knowledge of water supply project specifications and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Solid documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Requirements

- Candidates must own a two-wheeler in good working condition for official travel.
- Fuel reimbursement at Rs. 4 per kilometre will be provided for all approved official travel undertaken as part of job responsibilities.
