We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong knowledge in Fire Fighting and ELV systems. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-off, cost estimation, billing, and coordination with project teams to ensure accurate commercial management of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Quantity take-off for Fire Fighting systems (Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Gas Suppression)
- Quantity take-off for ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, PA, BMS, Networking, etc.)
- Preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
- Cost estimation and budgeting
- Vendor comparison & rate analysis
- Preparation of client billing (RA Bills) and subcontractor billing
- Variation and change order management
- Coordination with site engineers and project managers
- Review of drawings and specifications
- Monitoring project costs and preparing MIS reports
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge in Fire Fighting systems (NFPA standards preferred)
- Positive understanding of ELV systems
- Experience in BOQ preparation and estimation
- Proficiency in MS Excel (must)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Familiarity with contracts and commercial terms
- Good communication and coordination skills
